TRIO & GEAR UP Advocacy Day

Date:

• March 11, 2025

Location:

• This event will be held in-person at the Hall of Flags at the State House in Augusta.

Time:

• 8:00am - 12:00pm

Goal:

• To increase legislative and fiscal support for college access in Maine through sharing TRIO student success stories and establishing working relationships between TRIO professionals and civic leaders.

RSVP:

Your Advocacy Day To Do:

• Identify students that are ready and willing to speak about the positive impact of TRIO and share some of their personal story.
• Charge up your laptop/phone/video thing-a-ma-gig!
• Get fired up.
• Contact legislators serving your project's district and invite them to join the rally. Click here for House members, and click here for Senate districts.
